Good Afternoon!
YES is watching the upswing in the Delta variant of the Covid virus spreading in Pend Oreille County, and others, and we are taking all necessary safety precautions for staff and our participants and visitors.
Our Drop-In Center is open at 229 N Calispel Ave N in Newport, WA. While masks are not required, we do encourage wearing one inside if you are not vaccinated against the disease.
We are continuing with all programs, with Advocates (formerly Case Managers) meeting with young people as they come in. Young people are welcome to drop in to make a meal, hang out, wash clothes and visit with friends.
We still have food/grocery bags available weekly for any family with children and we can assist if your family has been affected by Covid, with rental, utility and other assistance.
