Hello, all! As you know, Treehouse is partnering with DCYF to provide direct cash assistance to young adult alumni of foster care ages 23-26. Eligible young adults will receive $1,000 in financial assistance for a wide variety of needs, including anything related to housing, food, education, employment, utilities, technology, and more.
To date, we have only been able to identify 448 of 2800 eligible young people. Our deadline is September 30th to get this money into the hands of young people. We are doing one last big push, and we hope you will help!
On Wednesday, Sept. 8th at 9:00 am, Treehouse will launch a massive social media push. We have asked all of our partners—from the Seahawks to state agencies, from corporations to nonprofit partners.
